Our grandparents used to grow high-quality fruits on the lands of Vayots Dzor. Then we built a cannery on the lands as far as possible from the noise and pollution of big cities. The factory was established on a hill, in a eco-friendly area. The fresh fruits used for the canned and stewed fruits (compote) are grown in a nearly located 2 ha orhard. The legal name of the company is "Anahit Ecogroup" LLC. Why "Anahit"? In ancient Armenian mythology, Anahit was the goddess of fertility who nourished, revived and glorified people, which is the ideology of our product. Why "Eco"? Because we produce eco-friendly and healthy products exclusively from natural raw materials. The "Group" implies that we have possibilities to expand our company in future. The company's brand name is POONJ, a set of products we offer to our consumers with great love. POONJ is a 100% natural product, made exclusively from eco-friendly raw materials, it does not contain dyes and preservatives, it is sterilized and pasteurized. Our social goal is to develop agriculture in Vayots Dzor by providing employment opportunities, increase the employment level, and contribute to the effective use of agricultural lands. Our main goal is to provide the local and international market with the qualitatively new, eco-friendly product made in Armenia.
