From the first day, I participated in wild gatherings to collect various herbs and wild berries for tea. "We wake up early and go up the mountains, ride a horse for 20 km, collect herbs such as thyme, mint, John's-wort, oregano, cornflower, etc., and then hand them over to the plant in the evening. I also used to work for a factory and participated in the processing of tea and dried fruits".
Various herbs, fruits, and honey offered by the Urtsadzor community cluster's households are collected, processed, and packaged in the Holani Agro Produce Processing factory.
"Holani" processing unit was founded by the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC) under the Project "Reduction of poverty in Urtsadzor community cluster by developing (self) employment opportunities". The project is financed by the European Union (EU).
The mission of Holani is to contribute to the development of Armenian communities creating a unique value for consumers.
