The ANAU Winemaking Training and Production Center was established within the framework of the Development of Scientific and Production Component of Wine Education program, the main goal of which is to improve the wine-making education and scientific-production activities of the Armenian National Agrarian University (ANAU) based on the creation of new material and technical base and the existing scientific and educational potential, prepare competitive specialists for winemaking, carry out research and development projects. The Armenian National Agrarian University, as the only Armenian higher educational institution in the field of agro-technical higher education and vocational education, aims to incorporate the latest material and technical base for winemaking education in the unified system by combining scientific and material resources related to winemaking of various departments of the University, the production of fermented technology and the winemaking profession promoting innovation in the industry.
