Cheese is one of the most favorite and famous foods in the world. It has been known since ancient times, about 7000 B.C. It’s interesting that cheese was mentioned even in ancient mythology and in ancient manuscripts.

Cheese has a special place among Armenians.

"Not easy as pie, ain’t for everyone to try", "Eat bread and cheese and think it over" or "Tuck it in and get the ball rolling" are two of the many proverbs known in Armenian folklore.

The usefulness of cheese.

Cheese contains vitamins B12 and D, proteins, which strengthen the muscles, build up the immune system, help height growth, and so on. Besides, it contains useful bacteria, which improve the microflora of the stomach. However, you shouldn't abuse the use of cheese, because it is high in fat, cholesterol, and salt.

On the bottom of a clay jar a little salt is put, then the mixture is put under strong pressure. In the end, the jar is tight up with cheesecloth and put upside down in the coal.

So cheese is a peculiar food that occupies an important place in the daily diet. Even a small piece of cheese can satisfy the body with useful chemicals and fill life with new gastronomic impressions.
